Parades
| Walt
Disney World (13 years; televised on ABC)
During my 13 year tenure with the Walt Disney Company, I had
the opportunity to serve on the creative, production, and
operational teams of literally thousands of parades.
Parades are presented 365 days a year in the theme parks as well
as special holiday parades mounted for the Easter and Christmas
seasons. In addition, several ABC Television specials
included live parade broadcasts.

| London's
Grand Christmas Parade (televised on BBC)
Televised on BBC throughout the United Kingdom, this parade
was the first "Macy's style" parade ever presented
through the West End of London. With over 1 million live
spectators, the parade began near Piccadilly Circus and
traversed the streets of London along Regent Street, Oxford
Street and ended at Hyde Park. Each float in the parade
was created as a full "Production Number" and eight
Show-stops were planned along the route to allow performers to
showcase a 90 second number prior to resuming the parade's
forward motion. Proceeds from the parade benefited the
Prince's trust charity.

Served for 4 years as contracted Parade Consultant to upgrade
the existing parade to national quality. I was in
residence in Indianapolis 13 - 20 weeks per year leading teams
of staff and volunteers in all aspects of parade production
including sponsorship, scripting, staging, operations, unit
recruitment, television cueing, risk management, creative
concepts, community interaction, float design, music
recording/mixing, and celebrity emcees. The parade was
televised nationally on TNN and regionally on the CBS affiliate.
With the 500 parade staged the day prior to the famous
Indianapolis 500 race, the finale each year was the
presentation, in race order, of the qualifying racecar drivers.
