Special Events
Served as a contract member of the White House Special Events
staff. Produced Inaugural Bands Parade for President
Ronald Reagan which was a re-creation of the Inaugural Parade at
Epcot Center over Memorial Day Weekend after the original parade
was canceled in Washington, DC due to extreme cold weather
during January. Also, produced the Opening Ceremony for an
Education Summit for President George Bush at Wake Forest
University.

Named as the producer for all Team 100 and Regents special
events and galas (10 events) throughout Philadelphia.
These are the top 2 donor groups for the Republican National
Committee and include many Fortune 500 CEOs as well as many of
America's financial elite. A summary of events include the
Opening Gala and Concert at the Philadelphia Museum of Art;
Executive Committee Breakfast at City Hall; Fashion Show at the
Philadelphia Academy of Music; Reception Honoring US
Representatives at Andalusia; Team 100 Golf Classic; Reception
Honoring US Senate hosted by Senator Arlen Spector; Reception
Honoring Republican Governors; Lunch / Briefing Honoring Past
Cabinet Members featuring Sen. Robert Dole and Secretary of
State Henry Kissinger; Reception Honoring Past Presidents with
special guest President George Bush; and, overseeing the
hospitality / business centers at the host hotels as well as all
transportation, security, and logistical arrangements.

| Walt Disney Company (13 Years - Manager, Special
Events)
As Manager of Special Events, worked for the Walt Disney
Company for 13 years based in Orlando, Florida, but managed
programs and events world-wide. Founder of Magic Music
Days, the largest program in the world for educational and
community music and performance groups to appear at one of the
Disney parks in Florida, California, Tokyo and Paris. Also
responsible for the sales campaigns and operational
implementation for Disney Magic Music Days, Grad Nite, Magic
Kingdom Club Group Travel, Military Markets, Senior Citizen
Programs and Disney Entertainment Arts (forerunner to the Disney
Institute). In addition to these programs, David also
served as a member of the production team for 3 Superbowl
Half-time Shows; Epcot and Disney/MGM Grand Openings; Pan Am
Games Opening Ceremony; Candlelight Processional; and over 3,000
Parades and Holiday Spectaculars.

| Superbowl Halftimes
Cast manager for 3 Superbowl half-time shows as part of the
production staff of the Walt Disney Company. Responsible
for oversight of cast auditions, communications, catering,
rehearsals, transportation, wardrobe, budget, safety / security,
and logistical planning. Also served as
"Day-of-show" line producer and stage manager to cue
cast entrances and exits onto the field. Each Superbowl
half-time cast consisted of 3000 - 3500 participants.

Contracted as Associate Producer by Gaylord Entertainment for
the Orlando venue. Served as Cast Manager for over 1500
participants as well as "Day-of-show" line producer
and stage manager. Responsible for oversight of cast
recruitment, communications, catering, rehearsals,
transportation, wardrobe, budget, cast safety / security, and
logistical planning.

Co-chairman of Welcome Events during the 1997 NCAA Final Four
in Indianapolis, IN. As Co-chairman I oversaw the
production of all team welcome / media events as each Final Four
Team arrived in Indianapolis for "The Big Dance".
Responsibilities included Media Relations, Venue Coordination,
Entertainment, Decor, and Communications.

| Emeril Lagasse Int'l Food Journalists' Media
event
Producer for "An Evening in Old Florida" featuring
Chef Emeril Lagasse as the featured chef for approximately 300
Food Journalists and Media from around the United States.
Transformed a ranch location into an appropriate setting to
feature a world renown chef. A welcome reception featured
an "expo" of many of Florida's foremost food and drink
companies (Bacardi, Ybor City, Florida Beef Council, Watermelon
Growers, etc.) including a "Hay Bale Bar". Then,
inside the Green Barn, Chef Emeril Lagasse prepared and
presented a multi-course meal introducing each course with the
historical and culinary background representing foods and
flavors indigenous to Florida.

| Planet Hollywood Gala events
Producer of Oscar Night America at Planet Hollywood located
in Disney's Pleasure Island and in cooperation with the Academy
Awards (Academy of Motion Pictures) in Hollywood. Oscar
Night America was sponsored, in part, by Planet Hollywood and
their 3-story restaurant served as the venue. The event
was produced for 2 years and was a black-tie fund-raiser for
local charities. The Academy Awards show was simulcast
live from Hollywood into Planet Hollywood for guests to view the
show while dining and participating in charity auctions.
Local news anchors from ABC served as emcees and filled the
commercial breaks with local entertainment acts and scripted
activities.

| Disney Theme Park Openings / Dedications / Media
events / TV Specials
As Manager of Special Events, I was on the creative,
production, and operational staff to design and implement many
large-scale events for the Walt Disney Theme Parks. Some
notable events include:
- Walt Disney World 10th and 15th Anniversary
Celebrations
- Epcot Center Grand Opening (Grand Opening and dedication
for the entire park, plus individual large-scale openings at
each pavilion over a 2 year period. Worked directly
with Government Officials and Embassies for each of the
World Showcase Pavilions)
- Press events and Media "blitzes" (Disney would
host 10,000 - 15,000 members of the media from around the
world each October. These media / press events were a
massive staging for media members to observe and have access
to each of the "new" offerings within the Walt
Disney Theme Parks. Elaborate celebrity and in-house
stage shows and extravaganzas were staged for the media's
entertainment insight and pleasure)
- Disney / MGM Grand Opening
- Television Specials (in addition to the media events
listed above, Disney would present regular holiday specials
and parades broadcast on ABC)
- Disneyland - Paris Grand Opening

Contracted to produce four (4) major events in conjunction
with the Orlando Magic and RDV Sports. These events
include:
- Fandemonium (2 years) - an interactive Fan-Fest prior to
the Basketball Season to give fans an up-close experience
with Magic players and competitive skill tests.
- Christmas Special (on NBC) - produced a pregame special
prior to the "re-match" of the previous year's
championship teams on Christmas Day. Included a
Christmas tree lighting as the Newscaster
"swished" the ball through the net. Also
included many indoor interactive games such as
"Stocking Stuffers" - which was varying heights of
basketball hoops with the starting line-up's
"stockings" as the nets.
- RDV Sportsplex Grand Opening and Dedication - Produced a
wide variety of activities and celebrity appearances
showcasing all aspects of the RDV Sportsplex which is a
combination high-tech fitness facility and also the Training
/ Practice areas for the Orlando Magic and the Orlando
Solarbears.

| Department of Defense
Contracted by U.S. Air Force Band and in conjunction with the
Pentagon to design and develop touring shows and training
seminars. Worked with music arrangers, choreographers,
costume designers and conductors to design and develop
"Serenade in Blue" a world-wide touring show for the
U.S. Air Force Band combining a show orchestra (strings, rhythm
section, and big band instrumentation) along with 6 - 8 featured
singers / dancers to provide a 90 minute variety show featuring
different eras of entertainment from the Stage and Screen.
Also developed a training seminar for Air Force music leaders
world-wide exposing them to the creative, production, budget,
and presentation process of the professional entertainment
industry. Two-days of interactive skill training in
Presentations and Creativity along with sessions with industry
leading choreographers, costume designers, special effects
experts, lighting / audio engineers, and television / stage
make-up artists in Washington DC culminated with a trip for the
entire group to New York to visit back-stage venues (i.e. Radio
City Music Hall) and to see all the elements come together at a
Broadway show.

| Bahamian Government
Contracted to produce a springtime festival / event designed
to increase tourism to Freeport, Bahamas. The Festival
included interactive activities that encouraged attendees to
visit area shops, restaurants and landmarks in the form of a
sophisticated treasure hunt. The event culminated with an
open-air concert by Bobby McFeran performing his hit song
"Don't Worry, Be Happy" as part of his 90 minute show.
Chartered Catamarans and other upscale Sea-going vessels were
used to ferry attendees from South Florida seaports to Freeport.
